THE SHORTLIST
Free options and useful audiences come first. Domain Rating (DR) from the source list is shown, but it is not proof of traffic or ranking value.

Software reviews, launch communities, app stores and package registries have different rules.
YOUR LAUNCH RESEARCH DESK
Find a fit. Check the conditions. Build your shortlist.
Try a broader term or reset a filter. Unverified fees are kept separate from free listings.
Every source entry is kept. Confirmed duplicates are merged, and sale or missing URLs stay visible with warnings. Specialised platforms aren't ordinary directory submissions.
EVIDENCE OVER EASY PROMISES
A useful review shows its working and its limits.
Where a record shows a dated reading, DR is Domain Rating by Ahrefs (read through Ahrefs' free API). Other values are imported from the supplied CSV, whose provider and measurement date are not established; in a sample of 99 domains most of those figures differed from current readings by 10 or more points. We do not assign parent-domain DR to platforms added later. Impact is unmeasured, not zero.
Only recorded official-source fee findings qualify for a documented-free label. Badge requirements, quotas, queues and retention rules are disclosed separately. 'No badge requirement established' is not the same as 'no badge required'.
Read-only HTTP requests checked supplied homepages and known submission URLs on 4 October 2026. A 200 response is not proof of a working submission or useful audience. 403/429, server errors, timeouts and TLS problems remain unresolved. A 404/410 means the page was missing at the time. It doesn't mean the business closed.
Automated sale-page flags were reviewed by hand where they looked doubtful. Raw results and manual corrections are stored separately.

Get your product in front of suitable audiences. The work is selection, accurate listing copy, submissions and follow-ups. It does not buy rankings.
One accurate brief: audience, availability, pricing and assets.
Match eligibility. Approve fees or badge obligations separately.
Record pending, published and rejected outcomes, with actual listing links where available.
PRIVACY AND CONDITIONS OF USE
What this site does with your data, and the conditions for using it. In short: no accounts, no cookies and no analytics, and nothing you type is sent anywhere unless you press Send enquiry.
Last updated 5 October 2026. This is a research preview and these terms will be revised before any public launch.
What stays on your device. If you save entries to your shortlist, their IDs are kept in your browser's local storage (key toolsheet-shortlist-v1). They are not sent anywhere unless you tick the box to include your shortlist in an enquiry. If storage is blocked, the shortlist lives in memory for that visit only. Your search and filter choices are kept in the page address after the # sign, which browsers do not send to servers. The local request brief is built in your browser and is neither stored nor sent.
Fonts. Loading a page requests fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Google receives your IP address, browser details and the page address, under its own Google privacy policy ↗. Toolsheet does not control that.
Enquiries. If you press Send enquiry, the details you entered are sent to Formspree (formspree.io), the form service Toolsheet uses: your name and email, the project name and website, who it is for, launch stage, whether an open-source repository exists, your consent, a generated brief and, only if you tick the box, the names and website URLs of your shortlisted directories. Formspree also processes connection details such as your IP address, under its Formspree privacy policy ↗. Toolsheet uses what you send only to reply to your enquiry. Do not include passwords, API keys or other secrets. An enquiry does not book work, authorise fees or create a contract. With JavaScript turned off, the form posts straight to Formspree.
Other sites. Links to directories and evidence pages open third-party sites in a new tab, and their privacy practices apply. Toolsheet does not track which links you click. Some links are labelled referral links: the destination or its partner network can then tell you arrived from Toolsheet, and Toolsheet may earn a commission.
Cookies and analytics. Toolsheet sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. The third parties above may set their own under their own policies.
Your choices. Nothing is sent until you press Send enquiry. To ask about, correct or remove an enquiry you have sent, use the enquiry form on the Managed submissions page and say which enquiry you mean.
A research preview. The catalogue is a snapshot dated 4 October 2026 and is for information only. Fees, free tiers and eligibility rules change, so check the source before you pay or submit. Each record shows what was observed, when, and how deeply: a policy review is not a tested submission.
No advice or endorsement. Entries and the provisional top 100 are not recommendations, quality rankings or promises of traffic, backlinks or acceptance. Directory operators cannot buy a position. Toolsheet is not affiliated with any listed site.
Third-party material. Names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners. Where a record shows a dated reading, its Domain Rating is Domain Rating by Ahrefs, used under Ahrefs' Domain Rating License ↗. Other DR values are unverified figures from the source list. Please do not repackage or redistribute these figures, or use them to build a competing dataset.
Source data. The catalogue began from a supplied source list whose republication rights are still being confirmed. Please do not copy the catalogue wholesale.
Using the site. Use it lawfully. Do not try to disrupt it or access it in bulk by automated means.
Managed submissions. This is a service concept. No price is agreed, there is no checkout, and sending an enquiry creates no obligation on either side.
No warranty and limits of liability. The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Toolsheet is not liable for loss that results from relying on it. Nothing here limits rights you have that cannot be excluded by law.
